Republic Day celebrated with patriotic fervor at BVM (USN)
The 69th Republic Day was observed as a day of introspection with all its solemnity and grandeur at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar. An air of patriotic fervor permeated the atmosphere. Preet (class IX) apprised the students with the importance of the day. Shruti (class VIII) recited a patriotic poem eulogizing the sacrifices made by our selfless freedom fighters. Sia of class VII expressed her feelings in the form of a speech on this auspicious occasion. The musical choir dedicated a patriotic song – “Mil jul kar hathiyar uthao, Mil kar kadam badhao” to the great pioneer Netaji Subhash Chander Bose. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi acquainted the students with the sanctity of the occasion. She threw light on various tasks to be undertaken by the youth who are going to be the proud future of the nation. She motivated the students to be responsible so that they can perform their role as good citizens and also briefed them about the little brave hearts of India who fought bravely with hardships in their lives and will be honoured on the eve of Republic Day by President of India, Sh. Ram Nath Govind. The celebration culminated with the zealous and fantabulous dance performance on the rhythm of a patriotic song “Tiranga Yatra”. The whole premises echoed with ‘Vande Mataram’.
